- Better never stops.
- Was machst du? Was könntest du machen? Was hindert dich daran?
- If you want to be great you need to know what great looks like.
- How to be a great coach? Train your team to make the decisions – They are in the field when the game starts. Not you!
- The real shift from good to great is more about culture and mindset and less about money.
- It doesn’t matter what job you do – you have to want to be world class at it.
- Sport provides a really inspirational way of helping young people see that ordinary people can make their dreams come true.
- To do that you need to be determined, work hard, be resilient. A lot of the qualities we want young people to have in life, you can learn through sport.
- You have to find a few companies that are prepared to go on that journey with you to create the role models and best-practice. Until people see it, they find it difficult to imagine what great looks like. You have to create the model of greatness so others can understand it and copy it.
- Politicians sometimes underestimate sport as a tool for the development of a young person both in education terms and in health. Sport is one of the most powerful tools we have to shape young people’s future.
